User Journey A/B test

Comparing the user journey of the current build vs a more GDS approach.

Navigation A/B Test Prototype

This A/B test has been set up to provide research on the user journey of the current build after the recommendations on the first two reports from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) with their feedback based on the Government Design Standard (GDS).

The test has been built to compare two different user journeys, test (A) will follow the current build where the user navigates the scheme return using the left hand navigation and will compare it to test B which will use the GDS task list as navigation and will also break-down the forms into a more GDS question by question approach.

Both prototypes have been built to push the user through the journey in the same specific direction. The data will be pre-populate and the user will concentrate on navigating through the scheme returning and evaluating the ease of the layout

What are we looking for

  1. The most intuitive journey
  2. Easiest to find your place after the break
  3. Understanding of the progress indicators
  4. Ease of filling in the forms
  5. General preference
